5 Priceless Treasures That Got Destroyed In Stupid Dumb Ways

Accidents happen. You plummeted your partner’s favorite coffee mug, your dog destroyed your beloved sweater, your dad deleted your video game save file and blamed it on specters — we’ve all “ve been there”. For the most part, we discover to forgive, forget, and move on with “peoples lives” … but that’s because our goofy little collisions aren’t responsible for annihilating invaluable cultural treasures. Unlike these poor saps …

A Boy Slipped And Punched A Hole Through A $1.5 Million Painting

In 2015, a Taipei artworks center hosted an exhibition of 55 valuable paints donated by collectors. Crucially, the organizers had special permission to let guests get closer than normal to the exhibits so they could really appreciate the hell out of some artwork. And thus was born a valuable lesson about the absurdities of trusting the general public.

A 12 -year-old boy was strolling past a large 350 -year-old still life by Paolo Porpora — the only work Porpora ever signed, hence its worth of $1.5 million. Suddenly the kid tripped, lost his balance, and flailed around like a cartoon character who stepped on a banana peel. He reached for the closest object he could find to restore his balance, and that was, of course, the improbably valuable work of art.

TST Art of Discovery Corporation You can see the exact minute the turd fills his underpants.

He managed to avoid wiping out, but he likewise tore a fist-sized pit in a paint worth more than most people will build in their own lives. The poor child then had to stand around appearing sheepish while everybody figured out what to do with him, likely daydreaming all the while about his new future as a slave in the great art mines.

TST Art of Discovery Corporation “Do you have any 350 -year-old duct tape? “

Luckily, the painting was insured, but although some restoration work was possible, it will never be quite the same. The exhibit’s curator was so shocked by the news that he couldn’t speak for a few minutes, although he ultimately forgave the son and his mothers, because it is the mark of a mature adult to appreciate a good slapstick routine even in the grimmest of days. The resulting news story actually improved attending at the exhibit, although the restricted area in front of each painting went back to its original size. Always practice safe gallery attendance, kids.

A 2,300 -Year-Old Mayan Pyramid Was Demolished So A Construction Company Could Use Its Stone To Build A Road

In 2013, a Belizean building corporation was looking for quality limestone to build a road. And sure, they could have trenched some from a quarry like everybody else, but why bother with everything that when there was a giant heap of limestone right at their doorstep? Oh, because those rocks made up the 2,300 -year-old Nohmul complex, one of most important Mayan pyramids in the region? Wish you’d spoken up sooner, rhetorical question; the company had already deployed an army of backhoes and bulldozers to totally demolish the temple.

Jaime Awe/ Belize Institute of Archaeology Reasonably sure their prediction calendar missed this one.

The head of the Belize Institute of Archaeology said the news was “like being punched in the belly, “ and “one of the worse fixed of jolts I have seemed, philosophically and professionally.” He likewise observed it astounding, as we probably all do, that people would bulldoze a arrangement older than the Bible out of sheer laziness. While archeologists were able to recover some artifacts, there was no chance of repairing the pyramid itself.

Sadly, this is a widespread trouble in Belize, a tiny country with many archaeological websites but few resources with which to protect them. This various kinds of willful ruin is still against the existing legislation, of course, and justice was served, as the company and three of its top brass were given the maximum possible penalty: a fine of, uh, $24,000. We hope they learned some kind of lesson from this, though we’re not sure what that might be. Destroying history won’t save you as much fund as you’d initially hoped?

Donald Trump Demolished Priceless Friezes Because He Didn’t Want To Wait Two Weeks To Save Them

In 1980, the Bonwit Teller Building in Manhattan was being demolished by noted slumlord Donald Trump to make room for his Temple of Doom, officially known as Trump Tower. The historic building included two large Art Deco friezes, which were considered “as important as the sculptures on the Rockefeller building” by the gallery owner who assessed them. The Metropolitan Museum of Art wanted to acquire them, and they had apparently reached an agreement with Trump on how to save them.

But then it turned out that maintaining the friezes intact would delay building by two whole weeks, and add the exorbitant cost of $32,000 to the Tower’s $80 -1 00 million budget.

Museum of the City of New York “3 2 grand ?! You know how many non-disclosure arrangements I could get with that ?! “

Since the idea of spending money for the benefit of anyone other than himself is against his whole shtick, Trump simply had the 51 -year-old friezes demolished. Employees ran at them with torches, crowbars, and jackhammers, then let them plummet to the ground, shattering them into countless pieces.

In response to the ensuing criticism, Trump spokesman John Baron declared that the friezes had been apprised and found to be “without artistic merit.” Two problems with that assert: One, the Met passionately differed, and they’re various kinds of the experts on this sort of thing. And two, John Baron was a fake name Trump used to speak to the press himself, because he lies about as well as a small child. Presumably he settled on it after spurning Super Michelangelo, PhD in Art Smarts for being “too amazing of a name named by the best namer.”

A Human Ruined Two National Monument In An Attempt To Take A Selfie

For 126 times, the admission to Lisbon’s Rossio Station had been graced by a statue of King Sebastian, a 16 th-century monarch considered a Portuguese national hero.

Infraestruturas de Portugal Please notice the phrase “had been.”

In May of 2016, a 24 -year-old man clambered up onto the monument in an attempt to get a sweet selfie of himself and the monarch. It didn’t go as schemed. The statue toppled to the ground and smashed into the train station, which is itself considered a historical national landmark. That’s right, he destroyed art with other art .

The man fled the scene, but police rapidly caught him by following the trail of panic urine.

The Most Isolated Tree In The World Was Killed … When A Drunk Driver Crashed Into It

For 300 years, the Sahara desert was home to the most isolated tree in the world. 250 miles of lifeless, inhospitable dunes stretched away from the Tree of Tenere in every direction.

    Google Maps

A leftover from a time when the Sahara was more vibrant, the tree simply survived thanks to its deep, deep roots, which reached 100 feet into the ground to tap freshwater reserves. It was such a miraculous landmark that European military maps at 1: 4,000, 000 scale still indicated the tree, and locals had a taboo against harming it. The tree was a “living lighthouse” — the only major landmark that a caravan intersecting the desert would pass. This was pretty much the crest of celebrity status for trees, is what we’re saying here.

Michel Mazeau We were still decades away from Groot.

And then, in 1973, some dipshit reached it with his truck.

There are rumors that the driver was drunk, but does that matter? This was literally the easiest object on countries around the world to avoid — < i> the only actual thing on a great plain of nothing — and the guy still managed to kill a huge piece of natural history.

Are you wondering how a passing truck was able to take out the ancient tree so easily? Well, it was already in a weakened nation. From the time someone else hit it with a truck.

The remnants of the tree were hauled off to the National Museum of Niger, and a metal sculpture honoring the tree was erected to recognize the spot where it once stood. We will inform you as soon as some asshole makes that with a truck, too.

This Florida Teacher Hid 65 People During a Massacre

Ashley Kurth is a 34 -year-old culinary educator at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Broward County, Florida. She was ending a period of teaching Wednesday when former student Nikolas Cruz allegedly walked into the school and opened fire with a rifle, killing at least 17 people. Kurth spoke with The Daily Beast about how she helped 65 kids and other teachers conceal from the gunfire.

It was the end of the day and I was closing up because we just finished doing all of our cook laboratory. We heard two poppings and I thought it was something like a balloon popping.

Then the fire alarm went off, which was really weird because we just had a fire alarm that morning. So I started getting the door shut on the one side to get the kids out for the fire drill. And as I was shutting my door, I had two very large senior sons coming at me like white faced, calling,” There’s a shooter! There’s a shooter !”

Then you could hear the rest of the gunshots start to go off. It nearly sounded like firecrackers with the lane that it was in succession.

I grabbed them and brought them in. Other children were starting to come in from there and I promptly ran around to the front of the classroom.

We were prepping for a first shooter drill that we had just gone over not long ago. So I was like,” OK, well here moves .”

As I went out to the front, to lock my front entrance to double check “its been” fasten, there was a whole mass of children that were just running out from the newcomer building.

It was just surreal. It was surreal, just watching them come out like that. I merely started grabbing as many children as I could. I grabbed two of my fellow colleagues and the children that were with them.

After about 60 or 90 seconds, I shut the door and I get everybody back in our storage area and in my agency. Final count, I think we had like 65 in my chamber.

Standing there on the side of the classroom opening the door, trying to get as many of them as I can in, and understanding more of them operating, at what level do “theyre saying”,” I can’t leave this door open? I don’t know what else is going to be coming through there .” And then just watching the rest of the children run by and just tell them keep running, keep running as you’re shutting the door, it’s hard.

We had all the kids mind sitting down, so that they were not all standing and huddling and hyperventilating.

And you are able hear all the shootings moving off. There were so many of them. It would get truly quiet, then you’d hear more going off.

One of the teaches that was in my room had a walkie talkie because she was one of the coach-and-fours. So “were in” listening over the walkie talkie, everything that was going on. They were trying to situate where the shooter was. We were concentrating a lot on the walkie talkie. All you are able hear is,” Which is why i he at? Is he here? He’s got a gas mask on. He’s throwing gas bomb. We don’t know what chamber he’s going into .” It was very scary sitting so close to this and hearing it go over. It was utter chaos.

Then you’d hear more gunshots come off.

We stayed there. I had my laptop pulled up and a couple children procured some live creeks from the helicopters that were going around. We pulled that up and had the children be as quiet as they could.

We merely tried to watch that and at the same time told the kids:” Text your friends. Find out where everybody’s at. We were doing check ins with all the children that we knew we had .”

White Supremacists Claim Nikolas Cruz Trained With Them; Students Say He Wore Trump Hat in School

PARKLAND, Florida–Nikolas Cruz, the man accused of killing 17 people in a Florida high school, was a member of a” white separatist paramilitary proto-fascist organisation ,” a leader of the group told The Daily Beast.

Cruz, 19, is accused of opening fire inside Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. Jordan Jereb, a captain of the Republic of Florida, said Cruz trained with different groups( as first reported by the Anti-Defamation League ).

Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel said Thursday night that the claim is” not demonstrated at this time” but” we are looking into that .” After previous mass shootings, the alt-right has spread disinformation online about alleged perpetrators.

Jereb claimed Thursday morning Cruz was a part of the Republic of Florida.

“This is a difficult subject,” he said.” I’ve been taking calls all day on it. I’m many things, but I’m not a liar. I can’t lie. He was part of our organization. He wasn’t particularly active in it, but at some level he came to Tallahassee with I believe the Clearwater RoF. I know he didn’t live in Clearwater, but I think that was the company he clicked up with .”

After taking a moment to check notes, Jereb substantiated Cruz came to Tallahassee with the “secretive cell” from Clearwater.

” They called him’ Nick ,’ they didn’t call him’ Nikolas ,'” he said.

” I’ve been in the same chamber as the guy but I don’t know the guy ,” he said.” I don’t know exactly what he believes. I know he knew full well he was joining a white separatist paramilitary proto-facist organisation. I know he knew that much .”

RoF was recently operating in Tallahassee and attempting to courtroom new members, according to a local news report from last year. The group posts videos of training montages on the internet with members in tiredness brandishing weapons.

” I’m not trying to exalt it, but he was pretty efficient in what he did ,” Jereb said.” He probably employed that training to do what he did yesterday. Nobody I know told him to do that, he simply freaked out .”

Cruz received at least one of his firearms through the white supremacist group, according to Jereb.

” I think somebody bought him a Mosin-Nagant, but that’s thunderbolt activity. He had a semi-automatic in the school ,” Jereb said.

Cruz bought the AR-1 5 rifle authorities say he used during the school in February 2017, the ATF said in an affidavit filed Thursday.

Jereb said Cruz” seemed as though only a normal, disenfranchised, young white man .”

While no motive has been described by police, Jereb theorized that Cruz may have allegedly dedicated the massacre out of hatred for Jews or women.

” There’s a very real appreciation of feminism has become a cancer. That could’ve played into what he did, but we have female each member of RoF ,” Jereb said, adding that” we’re not a big fan of Jews. I think there were a lot of Jews at the school that might have been messing with him .”

Last year, an alleged school shooter in New Mexico also expressed alt-right ideology online, as The Daily Beast previously reported.

    Hate in High School

Seven classmates of Cruz told The Daily Beast he carried extreme political views and agitating behavior when he attended the high school he is now accused of committing attacking with a high-powered rifle.

” The one person I would expect to do it did it ,” said Julianna Sivon, who said she sat next to Cruz in English class last year.” He adoration talking about his handgun. He just didn’t seem right, but he didn’t seem like he would do something this big .”

Kamrie Bazal, 19, and Damar Osouna, 19, said they knew Cruz in school and that he talked about about handguns but they did not suspect he would kill. Daniel Journey, 18, said Cruz was a troublemaker who was kicked out of class once for smashing windows.

Nyla Hussain, a 16 -year-old junior, said her good friend sat next to Cruz in biology class last year and that he would regularly depict her photos of dead animals.

” Whoever he sat next to in class he would demonstrate pics of animals that he hunted ,” she said.

Two classmates said they insured Cruz wearing a” Make America Great Again” hat.

    ” I realized him wear a Trump hat ,” said Sebastian Gonzalez, a 19 -year-old who graduated in 2017.

Ocean Parodie, a 17 -year-old junior, said Cruz was politically extreme.

” For example, he would degrade Islamic people as terrorists and bombers. I’ve seen him wear a Trump hat ,” Parodie said.

Josh Charo, a 16 -year-old junior “whos” JROTC with Cruz, said he often expressed racist beliefs.

” He would always talk about how he felt whites were a bit higher than everyone ,” Charo said.” He’d be like,’ My people are over here industrializing “the worlds” and starting new things, while your people[ signifying blacks and Latinos] are only taking up space .'”

    A Violent Life Online

Cruz wore the Trump hat in a photograph on an Instagram account the company said belonged to him. Over his face he wore a red, white, and blue bandanna. On that report and another one, Cruz posted photos of artilleries, knives, anti-Muslim slurs, and a picture of a toad he killed.

On YouTube, a person by the same epithet spewed hateful commentary about anti-fascists.

Cruz also celebrated Elliot Rodger, the gunman who killed seven people at the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2014 and who is considered a hero of the fringe men’s rights movement.

” Elliot rodger will not be forgotten ,” Cruz commented on one video one year ago. He likewise commented on a CNN video called ” Is our culture to blame for Elliot Rodger’s rants ?”

The FBI said on Thursday it had received a advising from a YouTube user about a” nikolas cruz” who wrote in a comment,” I’m going to be a professional school shooter .” FBI battleground agents interviewed the tipsters, but the bureau’s special agent in charge in Parkland said the FBI was unable to identify the user.

    Neighborhood Terror

Rhonda Roxburgh told The Daily Beast she had run-ins with Cruz when she lived with her mothers, who were neighbours of the Cruz family.

One summer day in 2013, Cruz slammed his backpack into the rear door of Roxburgh’s car as she passed his home on her way to run. She stopped private vehicles and got out to confront the teenager.

” I said,’ You can’t destroy people’s property. What were you doing ?'” Roxburgh recollected.” He was snarky and laughing, and didn’t want to look at me .”

Later that day, Roxburgh knocked on his mother Lynda Cruz’s door and informed her what had happened.” She said,’ No , no , no. Not my Nikolas .’ She was pretty much in denial there was any issue with him at that point in time ,” Roxburgh said.

As Roxburgh spoke to Lynda Cruz, Nikolas was strolling through the yard and toward the street. She tackled him again on her style home.

” When he looked at me, that individual is a very, very cold, cold person. He did not care what I was talking about. He did not care what he did. I realized I was wasting my time with this child ,” said Roxburgh, 45, who now lives in North Carolina.

Cruz was known to kill squirrels and birds with a pellet gun, and neighborhood felines would disappear, Roxburgh said. She said she once caught him jabbing a stick down a rabbit hole near his front yard.

At one point, Cruz walked his puppy to a neighbor’s pen of piglets and tried to have the pooch assault them.” He was just a threaten child, to be quite frank ,” said Roxburgh, who lived in the neighborhood from 2009 to 2015.

” If you knew he was killing animals, what else could he do? You got that sense that there was no emotion at all, regrettably ,” Roxburgh added.” Everyone was on the lookout for him. Everyone knew there was an issue .”

Roxburgh often recognized Cruz and two brothers, Zachary, together early on. In 2012, the siblings were the best of friends and were appreciated together in the street.

By 2014, the brothers” were definitely separate ,” Roxburgh said. Nikolas would sit on the curb waiting for the bus, alone, with children 30 to 40 feet away from him.

” They would never really interact ,” she said of the siblings.” Something happened back there .” Zachary Cruz would ride his skateboard past two brothers as he waited at the bus stop.

Meanwhile, Roxburgh said broken furniture–a injury hutch, bookcase, and mattress–was often placed at the curb outside the Cruz family home.” I was believing to myself,’ They must not have any furniture left ,’ because it was out there quite frequently ,” she said.

Police were also called to the house often, Roxburgh said.

” Some of the other people in the neighborhood[ said ],’ Boys will be boys .’ There was something else there, much darker than that ,” Roxburgh said.

As for Cruz’s alleged right-wing relate, Jereb claimed later on Thursday the media tricked him into identifying Cruz.

” It’s easy for them to misrepresent what I say. Are you really going to blame ME for the lying jew media ?” he wrote on Gab, a social media site favored by the fringe right. Jereb did not reply to a further request for comment.

According to the Southern Poverty Law Center, more than 100 people have been killed or injured by perpetrators influenced by the alt-right since 2014.

Candace Cameron Bures Surprising Response to Joy Behar Mocking Christianity

Joy Behar’s controversial remarks on “The View” referring to Mike Pence’s faith practises as “mental illness” have recently created an uproar in the Christian community.

“It’s one thing to talk to Jesus. It’s another thing when Jesus talks to you. That’s called mental illness if I’m not correct, ” said Behar, commenting on former White House staffer Omarosa Manigault Newman’s statement about Pence on “Celebrity Big Brother.”

“As bad as you think Trump is, you would be worried about Pence, ” said Omarosa. “Everyone that is wishing for impeachment might want to reconsider their life … I am Christian, I love Jesus, but he supposes Jesus tells him to say things.”

The cutting remarks about Christianity on “The View” kindled a fiery reply from Fox News benefactor Tomi Lahren as well as backlash from the Vice President himself who said, “I call them out on it. Not because of what was said about me, but it’s just simply incorrect for ABC to have a television program that carries that kind of religious intolerance.”

Rarely one to shy away from faith disagreements in the media, Candace Cameron Bure has now likewise come forward to weigh in on Joy Behar’s remarks.

As a former panelist on “The View, ” Bure is certainly no stranger to the liberal agenda and religion insensitivities often projected by her former co-hosts.

“My initial reaction was that it was a tone-deaf remark, but not a surprising one from someone who isn’t a adherent, ” Bure told Faithwire.

“We understood where she stood with[ the vice-president ], ” she continued. “It was important for me to watch that entire clip and not only draw the one thing out that Joy said … there are many people who envision the route that Joy does when they aren’t believers.”
The actress explained that it’s critical Christians be wary of comprising non-believers to the same spiritual criteria we adhere to, as the lost are incapable of doing so apart from Christ. She admits that for those working without a similar faith background, like Behar, the concept of Jesus speaking would voice entirely “foreign.”

“It was a tone-deaf comment, likewise an ignorant one, but you can’t blame her, ” said Bure. “[ For] someone who has no concept of the Holy spirit, I think that that is a logical response to them.”

Bure shared that if she was still in the round-table hot seat, she would have been careful to clarify the difference between’ Jesus talked to me’ and’ I’m listening to the Holy Spirit, ’ as the latter is a more accurate representation.

Either way, the “Fuller House” star admits she’s grateful that she’s no longer required to engage in those discussions on “The View” panel. While she loves all of her former co-hosts, she said, “It’s heated. It’s a hard job I’m glad I’m not doing.”

Frances Bean Cobain Celebrates Two Years Sober While Revealing Private Battle With Addiction

Posting a short video she captured while in Hawaii with her boyfriend Matthew Cook, the 25 -year-old captioned it:

“I reckoned I would start this post by using a pure minute in Oahu amongst nature, with my enjoy. This instant is a representation of who I am on February 13 th, 2018. It feels significant here , now because it’s my 2nd sober birthday. It’s an interesting and kaleidoscopic decision to share my sentiments about something so intimate in a public meeting. The reality that I’m sober isn’t truly public knowledge, definitely and deliberately. But I think it’s most significant to put aside my panic about being judged or misunderstood or typecast as one specific thing.”

And while she doesn’t go into detail about her addiction, she continued 😛 TAGEND

“I want to have the capacity to recognize& observe that my excursion might be informative, even helpful to other people who are going through something similar or different. It is an everyday duel to be in attendance for all the painful, bazaar, uncomfortable, tragic, fucked up things that have ever happened or will ever happen.”

As you’re likely aware, both Frances’ parents fought with mistreating narcotics as Courtney was ordered into rehab in 2005, and her papa sadly passed away by suicide with high traces of heroin and Valium in his system.

She’s so strong for fighting this battle, and we hope she continues to stay on the path of recovery.

Read her full post( below ):

I belief I would start this post by means of a pure minute in Oahu amongst nature, with my enjoy. This minute is a the representatives from who I am on February 13 th, 2018. It feels significant here , now because it’s my 2nd sober birthday. It’s an interesting and kaleidoscopic decision to share my impressions about something so intimate in a public forum. The reality that I’m sober isn’t really public knowledge, definitely and deliberately. But I think it’s most significant to put aside my dread about being judged or misconstrue or typecast as one specific thing. I want to have the capacity to recognize& observe that my jaunt might be informative, even helpful to other people who are going through something similar or different. It is an everyday combat to be in attendance for all the pain, bazaar, uncomfortable, tragic, fucked up things that have ever happened or will ever happen. Self destruction and toxic intake and deliverance from sorenes is a lot easier to adhere to. Undeniably, for myself and those around me becoming present is the best decision I have ever constructed. How we treat our bodies directly correlates to how we are dealing with our souls. It’s all interconnected. It has to be. So I’m gonna take today to celebrate my vibrant health and the abundance of happiness, gratitude, awareness, tendernes, empathy, strength, anxiety, loss, wise, peace and the myriad of other messy feelings I seem constantly. They advise who I am, what my aims are, who i want to be and they force me to acknowledge my boundaries/ limitations. I claim my mistakes as my own because I believe them to contribute to the dialogue of my higher education in life. I am constantly evolving. The moment I stop my evolution is the moment I disservice myself and ultimately those I enjoy. As cheesy and cornball as it voices life does get better, if you want it to. I’ll never claim I know something other people don’t. I simply know what works for me and seeking to flee “peoples lives” no longer works for me. Labor Board Rules Googles Firing of James Damore Was Legal

Google did not violate federal labor law when it fired James Damore, a lawyer for the National Labor Relations Board( NLRB) concluded in a lightly-redacted memo made public Thursday. The former senior software engineer was burnt from Google in August after internally circulating a ten-page memoranda arguing in part that ladies are not as biologically suited for coding jobs as humen. After he was terminated, Damore filed a complaint with the NLRB, underlining the fact that Google had transgressed his right to participate in protected activity, namely addressing difficulties in his workplace. The NLRB memo disagrees with Damore’s complaint, and recommends dismissing it, were it not withdrawn.

Damore plummeted the NLRB complaint last month to instead focus on a class action suit he and another former Google employee brought against the company accusing him of discriminating against white, male, and conservative employees. The NLRB memo liberated Friday was written by attorney Jayme Sophir in January–less than ten days after Damore filed his lawsuit.

Sophir concluded that Damore’s memo contained both protected statements( like blaming Google) and not protected statements( perpetuating stereotypes about wives ), and that Google ultimately fired Damore for things he said that were not protected under federal law. Sophir wrote in her memoranda that workplaces should have the ability to “‘nip in the bud’ the kinds of employee conduct who are able to lead to a’ hostile workplace.'”

She also said that Damore’s statements about women in his memo “were discriminatory and constituted sexual harassment , notwithstanding effort to shawl remarks with’ scientific’ references and analysis, and notwithstanding’ not all women’ disclaimers. Furthermore, those statements were likely to cause serious dissension and disruption in the workplace.” Sophir’s memo likewise cites two instances in which women withdrew their candidacy for engineering postures at Google after learning about the existence of Damore’s memo.

    More on Damore’s Memo

A deep dive into the science James Damore cites in his memo.

Damore’s lawsuit was designed to embarrass Google.

That memo truly set Google executives in a bind.

“I Need to Make This Shooting Infamous”: Grandma Finds Grandsons Disturbing Journal Entry, Thwarts School Shooting in Washington

As the Florida school shooting continues to rattle the nation and raise outcries for stricter gun control statutes, a grandmother in Washington has taken topics into her own hands to prevent what could have been the nation’s next great tragedy.

After discovering her 18 -year-old grandson’s plot carried out under a mass shooting at ACES High School, Catherine O’Connor thwarted his attempt by becoming him into authorities. She uncovered his disturbing programme just one day before the Florida massacre that killed at least seventeen.

Washington state authorities arrested Joshua Alexander O’Connor at his school in Everett on Tuesday after his granny became over journal enters detailing his mass murder scheme.

“I need to make this count, ” Joshua reportedly wrote. “I’ve been examining many mass shootings/ bombings( and attempted bombings) I’m learning from past shooters/ bombers mistakes, so I don’t stimulate the same ones.”

“I’m preparing myself for the school shooting. I can’t wait, ” he penned in another journal entering. “My aim has gotten much more accurate … I can’t wait to walk into that class and jolt all those( expletive) away.”

ABC affiliate KOMO likewise acquired courtroom documents exposing his written intent to make this mass shooting the largest in history by killing as many people as is practicable 😛 TAGEND

“I need to make this shooting/ bombing … infamous. I need to get the biggest fatality number I possibly can.”

Even more alarming, Catherine also detected a semi-automatic rifle stashed away in a guitar lawsuit at her mansion, corroborating her fear that her grandson had full intent to carry out the heinous plot detailed in his journal.

Joshua is now being held on$ 5 million bail in the Snohomish County Jail, and police are currently investigating the lawsuit further.

Catherine is being credited for constructing the tough, yet highly necessary decision to call 911 responding to her horrific discovery about her grandson.

“There’s a lot of kids who could have lost their lives, ” her neighbor, Julie Primachik, told KOMO. “I think it’s a hero-like thing to do.”

“We are genuinely grateful to the grandmother, added Mukilteo School District’s Andy Muntz. “It couldn’t have been easy for her to do. It speaks to the importance of the saying,’ if you hear something or see something, call authorities, ’ and that’s what she did. It’s quite possible she saved many lives including her grandson’s.”

Donald Trump’s 6 Very Real, Very Insane Tips For A Good Life

Whatever you build of him politically, there’s no denying that Donald Trump has been alive for a long, long time. That is literally the least that we can give him. So it stands to reason that he must know something — that he must have some criteria or guidelines by which a person can live their life. What a rich source of lifestyle advice he would be, if only he’d share this with us. If only he could find some time in his day to talk about himself .

Oh, it turns out he can.

    6

Never Let Go Of Your Grudges

Much of Trump’s life can be defined by the grudges he’s held. Nobody thinks about Rosie O’Donnell that much under normal circumstances. “When people treat me unfairly, I don’t let them forget it, ” he told reporters during his presidential campaign in 2016. It doesn’t seem to matter that he’s often wealthier or more powerful than the peoples of the territories he’s comprising rancours against. That’s not the phase. The phase is the revenge itself. “If people bolt you, bolt them back 10 hours as hard, ” he explained in 2011.

Media organisations he doesn’t like abruptly find themselves blacklisted from campaign rallyings and press briefings. One failed business deal in Mexico, and later he’s ranting about how most Mexicans are “rapists” who “bring in drug and crime.” When he won the Republican presidential primary in 2016, “hes taking” almost no steps toward reconciliation with his former foes, instead dishing out insults left and right to people he no longer needed to strike. And when Puerto Rico was stricken by a hurricane the summer months, Trump dedicated much more effort than “none at all, are you crazy? ” to a running feud with the mayor of San Juan.

Joe Raedle/ Getty Images Hmm … theres a Puerto Rican I dont get along with. Better screw over three million of them so she knows it.

When NFL players began kneeling during the national anthem, Trump didn’t just blame the players like more conservative commentators; he focused a lot of his rage on the NFL itself, calling it weak and out of control .~ ATAGEND Which doesn’t make a ton of appreciation … until you realize that Trump have all along held a grudge against the league for refusing to let him buy a team in the 1980 s. And when he tried to buy the Bills in 2014, simply to get outbid, he reacted the only behavior he knows how: with shockingly petty tweets about how boring the league was.

And then there’s the massive resentment he comprises toward his predecessor, Barack Obama. Trump invested quite a bit of Obama’s first word cheerleading the birther motion because of, well … let’s say his ardour for birth certification formatting oddities. For some reason, he then attended the 2011 White House Correspondents’ Association dinner. There, Obama lighted into him . For a solid two and a half minutes, Trump could do nothing more than slowly boulder back and forth, tight-lipped, while Obama dished out insult after insult. The guy’s probably never had to sit through anything like that before, and the clairvoyant impact it’s induced on him can’t be underestimated. If you’re ever in any doubt about the same reasons behind Trump’s actions as chairwoman, know that he’ll ever do the opposite of whatever Obama would, be that constructing a health plan, entering the Paris Accord, or reading.

    Decorate Like A Dictator

Being wealthy is great. You should definitely be born into that if you are able. But it’s not enough on it’s own. You have to let people know you’re wealthy, so they know you’re better than them, and to go retrieve you food and furs. You can do that by screaming at them all the time( and you should; never stop shouting ), but when your voice get tired, or they simply get too far away, you’ll necessity something else. You’ll need to let your surrounds do the talking for you.

Which brings us the Trumpian esthetic. The writer of a book called Dictator Style identified a number of key design traits featured in the residencies of most well known dictators: overly ornate medals, big sway chandeliers, marble everything, mismatched French furniture, that various kinds of thing. Decor which wailed wealth but not class , none of it presented with any kind of designing or stylistic intent. And when this author learnt pictures of Trump’s penthouse in Manhattan, he saw the same thing there. Vanity Fair even operated a side by side comparing of one of Trump’s manors and a palace used by Saddam Hussein, and the similarities were not hard to find.

Vanity Fair Its the aesthetic equivalent of shouting.

But The Donald does have one decorating quirk all his own: the desire to hang up obviously fake things, like this embrace of Time that was proudly framed in five members of his golf courses.

Angel Valentin/ The Washington Post It seems this was during Time s summary First day use MS Paint series of coverings.

It is completely fake. There was no Time issue printed on the date on the encompas, and Trump was never on the embrace of Time during the year it was supposedly attained. And that’s not the only fake thing at his golf courses. Hold this sign 😛 TAGEND

Rob Carr/ Getty Images And it is our great honor to do a modest quantity of studies to check if this is true.

Yeah, that’s fake too. Historians who know the area have no mind what combat has just taken place there, and have never heard it referred to under as the River of Blood.

Years ago, Trump’s biographer was interviewing “the mens” on one of his presumably marble-coated personal airplanes. Hanging on the wall of the plane was a painting, a Renoir.

Pierre-Auguste Renoir Specifically, the most famous painting by Renoir, which apparently no one is keeping track of.

The biographer knew this paint, and knew that the original was in a gallery in Chicago. But Trump was of the view that this was the original, and wouldn’t take no for an answer. He didn’t get rid of it after being called out, either. The thing indicated up on the backdrop of an interview with his wife after his campaign succes.

Fox News Nice to add a splash of colour to the uniformly gold room of horror .

    4

Eat Fast Food And Nothing But Fast Food

Every celebrity lifestyle guide is at least 50 percent bizarre ultra-healthy diet tips — exotic grains, free-range kale, and egg white omelets all prepared by their aboriginal spirit-nutritionist, Klevin. Trump’s guide would have a similar part, but y’know, the total opposite.

First, let’s discuss his taste in steaks: well-done, with a side of ketchup, which the flavor experts among you will recognize as “not optimal.” We’re talking steaks so well-done they used to “rock when they made the plate.” Now seem, elitism is shitty, in food and all other things.

    Trump Steaks Case in point.

Not everyone likes their steaks mooing, so if a guy likes to eat his steak well-done, that’s penalty. It’s fine .

The ketchup is a little much, though.

The other staple of the Trump diet: the 2,400 -calorie McDonald’s snacks he’s been known to consume. That’s multiple Big Macs, Filet-O-Fishes, and chocolate shakes. Kentucky Fried Chicken, pizza, and Diet Coke reportedly make up the rest of his diet, and if that describes yours as well, congratulations on already envisioning like a billionaire, I guess?

McDonands Though maybe we should make time for the Friends dont let pals order Filet-O-Fish talk.

There’s an interesting justification for this love for overcooked meat and salt: Trump is a germaphobe. Imagine how risky an acai root indigenous power bowl or something would look to him, all contained within fruits and grains and material that clearly once touched the earth, all prepared by someone with their hands . You could then insure the appeal of mass-produced, pre-packaged meat. Not if you think it through at all , but if you took a cursory glance at those two alternatives, and you were absolutely certain that the first thought that entered your chief was always 100 percentage factually indisputably correct for all time, forever and ever, amen, you might recognize where he’s coming form.

    3

    Be Born With Superior Genes

If you had to pick the perfect human, the one person whose intelligence, grace, and physical attractiveness outshone all others, it’d be Donald Trump, right?

Well, there’s a reason for that. Trump has good genes, as he’ll tell you himself. It’s part of his so-called “racehorse theory of life, ” which is to say that some people are spawned to succeed, thanks to the genetic material provided by their parents. We’re not reaching here. He brings up his genes all the time . His health? Excellent, thanks for asking, and an expression of the results of his good genes. Same thing with his energy! Luck? He was born with it! He once even said he had a genetic gift for real estate growth, which … scientists are not truly rushing to confirm.

Pawel Marynowski/ Wikimedia Commons Investors, either.

Anything positive that his family does is proof of the same genetic greatness. He regularly mentions his uncle who went to MIT. His granddaughter, who’s reading Mandarin, is more proof of Trumpian greatness. His children have inherited the idea too. Here’s his son going on about his incredible genes, including his mother’s fictitious Olympic skiing background.

This kind of envisioning is a little troubling, especially when we consider another famous political motion preoccupied with superior genes. Yes, it’s usually hyperbolic to compare people you disagree with to Nazis. But not when they actually believe what Nazis believe . To the millions of Americans who might not have perfect genes, it is a little disturbing that their president said, “‘All humen are created equal.’ Well, it’s not true.”

    Remember this?

    CNN

That would be the president doing an impression of a disabled reporter. It was a gag, but you are familiar with, not a “ha ha” one . And he now defines policy for disabled Americans!

    2

    Fill Everything With Asbestos

Asbestos was once used as a fireproofing agent, because it is extremely effective in that role. It also induces cancer, and is extremely effective at that as well. But for some reason( it’s probably money ), Donald Trump has only ever genuinely cared about that first bullet degree. In his 1997 book, he indicated the drive to remove asbestos was led by the mafia, which controlled the asbestos removal business. In his opinion, asbestos was “1 00 percent safe, once utilized, ” which is true about undisturbed asbestos. But it does have a nasty habit of getting disturbed, which lowers the safety level a few( dozen) percentage points.

Mark Wilson/ Getty Images Of course, that assumes you take security recommendations from qualified scientists. Trump is having none of that.

Which is why for a few decades now, we’ve had regulations mandating asbestos use and treatment. This constructs it a giant and costly pain in the ass for anyone who owns houses, e.g. Donald Trump. And seeing as Trump isn’t a huge fan of spending his own money and also has a casual relationship with realities, you can probably now deduce how he’s taken its own position. On that note, he was once sued in the 1990 s by Polish construction workers who claimed the latter are exposed to asbestos dust without protective equipment. But that’s likely a coincidence.

Anyways, whether it’s science, regulations, or angry Poles , nothing has in the past changed The Donald’s mind. He still loves asbestos, and is even on the record suggesting that it could have prevented the World Trade Center towers from collapsing on 9/11. He was even on Twitter about it, because he’s been participating in Twitter about everything. Whatever the opposite of a rancour is, Donald Trump has it for asbestos. Which means that if you want to be a winner , you’re going to need a carcinogen of your own to love.

Exercise And Sleep Are For Losers

On the subject of exert, Donald Trump has a very hot take: don’t. He believes that a person is like a battery, with a fixed amount of energy, and that unnecessary workout use that energy up. He’s even mocked others for exerting. When he found out that one of his executives was training for a triathlon, he told the man he’d “die young because of this.”

This lines up pretty neatly with the exact opposite of what scientists say , which is that while exercising might temporarily reduce your energy, it strengthens your body, thus enabling it to be stronger and storage more energy in the future. You already knew that because you went to gym class once or read anything about food ever. But who are you going to trust? Scientists and common sense? Or a winner with confusing notions about batteries ?

And then there’s the matter of sleep. For a very long time, Trump has claimed that he gets very little of it, from 90 minutes to four hours a nighttime. You should probably do the same. And what can you expect to do with all that extra hour you’ll have, being wearied and grumpy? Well, if you want to be like Trump, you’ll stimulates bargains and plot revenge.

New York Magazine Everybody knows 3 a.m. is the ideal time to sit awake, sharpening a knife and reciting the names of all persons who ever wronged you. Thats Business 101.

The American Academy of Sleep Medicine recommends seven hours or more of sleep per day for an adult, which suggests that Trump has been wrecking his body and mind for decades now. Come to think of it, that does jive with a few things we’ve seen in the news …
